This Privacy Policy describes how SermonForm ("SermonForm," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our sermon writing and organization service. By using SermonForm, you agree to the practices described below.
We may collect the following categories of information:
We use the information we collect to:
SermonForm does not sell your personal information.
User-created sermon content may include sermon blocks, notes, outlines, illustrations, applications, manuscripts, tags, and related materials you create within SermonForm. We treat this content as belonging to you and use it only as needed to operate the service, including storing, displaying, backing up, and otherwise processing it on your behalf.
Please avoid storing highly sensitive personal, counseling, medical, financial, or confidential third-party information in SermonForm unless you have permission to do so and understand the risk.
SermonForm may use cookies, local storage, or similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and operate the service. You can usually control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling them may affect how SermonForm works.
We may share information with service providers — such as hosting, infrastructure, security, and support providers — only as needed to operate, host, secure, support, and maintain SermonForm. We do not sell your personal information. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of SermonForm, our users, or others.
We retain account information and user content for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. We may retain certain information for a limited period after account closure to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account from the Account page, your sermons, series, templates, and recordings are erased right away. Copies may remain in routine system backups for a limited time.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information. However, no online service can guarantee absolute security, and you use SermonForm at your own risk.
SermonForm is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
You can download a copy of your sermon data and permanently delete your account and all of your content at any time from the Account page. You can also contact us at the email address below to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another region with similar laws, you have the right to access, correct, delete, export, and restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process your information to perform our agreement with you (providing the service and your account), for our legitimate interests (securing and improving SermonForm), and with your consent where required.
SermonForm is operated from the United States, and your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. By using SermonForm you understand your information may be processed outside your country of residence.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of SermonForm after changes become effective means you accept the updated policy.
